Seligor's Castle. The home of Seligor, Diddilydeedot, Dodie, and Dr. Do-Diddily and the Dee-Dot's.

Seligor's Castle is where Seligor, Dr. Do-Diddily and the Dee-Dot's,
Diddilydeedot in Dreamland,
and Dodie's Dream World all work on their websites.
They are all within the children range, though Dodie's does have a lot more classical stuff on it and the little ones might find it a bit boring.
I have just opened a couple of wee nursery pages though just in case you have one on your knee, :)

Each site has it's own home page and index, and I have been very careful not to repeat to many rhymes etc, though Toby and Tilly are in both the Castle and Dreamland and now Diddilydeedot around the world. I have mad up most of the play lists from YouTube and google. But please always check these as sometimes you get the odd person who thinks its smart to change the content. I have looked through almost 7,000 videos on you tube alone, so you can imagine how many there are.
Many of the stories, myths tales, rhymes come from books well past their hundredth birthday. I have always collected old books and up until recently sold many on Amazon. But now I use all my spare time on the websites and blogging sites.
Then there are songs to sing, many, many new rhymes to learn and pass on to the future generations.
I have been on line over fours year now and also have my Zoomshare, Wordpress, Delicious, Twitter and Facebook. Best wishes xxx Seligor

A new tale from Newfoundland has been added to diddilydeedot

NEWFOUNDLAND
The following little story I found on this site mentioned below, I do like the idea of calling Newfoundland "Newfie" but somehow I feel I should be a Newfie myself and not a WelshDragon from the mountains of North Wales. Canada seems to have an awful lot of ghost stories and tales. I have found a fabulous one of a Yeti but think I will put it in Seligor's Castle, I think the younger kids will love it. Enjoy this great Pirate story. Dodie. xxx
Newfie Lore (Newfoundland Ghost Stories and Pirate Tales)
www.canadianculture.com/newfiejune/newfiejune02.html

Newfoundland is full of ghost stories and pirate tales. 'Tis said, for example, that Peter Easton, the Pirate,
sailed to small inlets around the coast and hid the treasures that he had reaped on the high seas.

Now, I have to admit that the average Newfie gets a great bit 'o fun from yankin' the chain of some of you Mainlanders, but I swear to you that's not what I'm about here. Newfoundland joined Confederation to provide a little culture to what would have been a Canada of rather straight-laced rabble.

I grew up hearing the wonderful tales of buried treasure and of ghosts who would lead you to them (whether you wanted to go or not!)

My Mother, God rest her soul, was quite superstitious and her Mother before her sounds like she may have been a practicing witch, for cryin' out loud. In fact, I'm bloody lucky they didn't burn her at the stake because then I wouldn't be able to tell you these tales at all! It's a good thing we lived in Newfoundland and not Salem, that's all I can say!
