Seligor's Castle. The home of Seligor, Diddilydeedot, Dodie, and Dr. Do-Diddily and the Dee-Dot's.

Seligor's Castle is where Seligor, Dr. Do-Diddily and the Dee-Dot's,
Diddilydeedot in Dreamland,
and Dodie's Dream World all work on their websites.
They are all within the children range, though Dodie's does have a lot more classical stuff on it and the little ones might find it a bit boring.
I have just opened a couple of wee nursery pages though just in case you have one on your knee, :)

Each site has it's own home page and index, and I have been very careful not to repeat to many rhymes etc, though Toby and Tilly are in both the Castle and Dreamland and now Diddilydeedot around the world. I have mad up most of the play lists from YouTube and google. But please always check these as sometimes you get the odd person who thinks its smart to change the content. I have looked through almost 7,000 videos on you tube alone, so you can imagine how many there are.
Many of the stories, myths tales, rhymes come from books well past their hundredth birthday. I have always collected old books and up until recently sold many on Amazon. But now I use all my spare time on the websites and blogging sites.
Then there are songs to sing, many, many new rhymes to learn and pass on to the future generations.
I have been on line over fours year now and also have my Zoomshare, Wordpress, Delicious, Twitter and Facebook. Best wishes xxx Seligor

I give you the time of waiting and the time of fulfilment. Seligor. xxx

As this is a children's site I would like to offer you a collection of little sayings. This being before I start the page index, the words are spoken by Nature!

I NATURE, give to you to be yours for ever and ever, the right to the free enjoyment of this world. I give to you the years that are before you, and the world that is about you.

I give to you the Sun by day and the Moon and stars by night, with the power to wake as the Earth rolls into the light of the sun, and power to sleep when the night comes.

I give to you the beauty of the Earth in the golden hour of dawn, with the vision of the Sun as it climbs above the hills, with the glow of fire across the meadow and the sparkle on the river that runs past. The sight of the new stirring of the life of the world, the sound of all moving things that praise their Maker, the feeling that uplifts the heart as the light breaks on another day, are yours.

I give you the eager hope of spring, with the right to see the slow disrobing of the winter earth and the slow unveiling of her secret treasury. I give you the untold glory of a summer's day, with the touch of his hand in every lane and the fire of the Sun on every rose.  I give you the eternal promise of autumn, with the faith of all growing things in your life that will come again. I give to you the full glory of the changing year and  perfect trust in the ways that have never failed upon the Earth.

I give to you the leaping joy of spring, the glittering dance of summer, the rustling of the leaves in winter, these I give to you. I give you the ceaseless wonder of night and day and all the seasons as they pass.

I give you the song that has been in the world since the birds began to sing, the joyous song of the lark and the plaintive music of the nightingale; the beauty that has been on Earth since flowers began to peep; the silvery sky since the stars began to shine.

I give you understanding of the voices dumb things - the neigh of a horse that a rider loves, the bark of the dog that has been man's friend throughout the passing of time, and the purring of the cat as she sleeps on the hearth. I also give you the music of the day to stir your soul, and the stillness of the night in which you can fill with your deepest thoughts.

I give you the gentle breeze that kisses the face of a child, and the wind that tosses the ship at sea: I give you tenderness and strength. I give you charity that comforts the sufferer and the pity that softens the life of the poor. I give you the wisdom of health and the power to build up in your body a holl temple for your soul. I give you the power to think and know and understand, the power to love books and all beautiful things. I give you the power to win the love of little children and the power to hold your head high amongst man.

I give you the waters of the Earth, with the right to listen to the whisper of the stream as it rises in the hills, to the chatter of the river as it gathers and widens, and to the shout of the cataract as it splashes through the rocks. I give you the beauty of the moving sea when it kisses the Sun, and the vision of the liquid peaks that rise and fall. I give you the slowly creeping waves that have never been still since the seas were made, and the rocks they have ground into golden sands.

I give you the Past, with its heritage of good and ill. I give you the Present with the opportunity that knows no bounds  I give you the Future with the years that never end and know no sorrow.

I give you the long, long thought of youth and the memories of the years. I give you the love of true things, the love of pure things, and the companionship of liberty. I give you the scorn of all things ignoble, and the hate of all things evil. I give you the strength to march against all these things until they are destroyed.
And I leave you with the thought that little children yet shall see the day dawn that no man knows.

here is the second part of Spring Spring Spring with Tilly and Toby, part three afte this weekend holiday.

Chapter Two

Well what did you think of Ivor the Engine, I was wondering if any of you haIvor the Engineve been on the little train that goes up Snowdonia in Gwynedd North Wales. It's not far from Blaenaufestiniog where the Coal mines are open to the public as well. I remember my first visit with the school. I do believe you don't have to dig for coal now, that you can pay for your ride into the caverns. Wink

So where were we, oh yes singing the wheels on the bus with Tilly and Toby and both Candy and Sweetie hiding under the car blanket, cos the noise was so bad.
"Toby, how much further is it to Llangollen, it looks an awful long way in this map book?"
"That's because it is a big scale, that's all." Toby grinned. "We will only be about another ten minutes and then you will be able to see the town."
"Oh gosh, I am so excited. I love to see the old steam engines, all those puffs of steam going up into the clouds, oh it's beautiful Toby, really beautiful."
Tilly leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes to the beautiful scenery that they were diving through, she was soon dreaming of Ivor. Toby carefully steered the Land Rover, making sure not to go over any big bumps. On his left the trees were growing tall and he knew that it wouldn't be long till they hit the T junction.
And there it was right to go towards the Horseshoe Pass, and left to go into the town of Llangollen and the railway station. He indicated to go left, they would be going back over the Pass but not until they had seen Ivor the Engine.
They were going to be early and Toby was pleased because it meant they could eat their picnic that Tilly had put together and take Candy and Sweetie for a quick walk and a wee!
Tilly woke up just as Toby pulled into the layby by the park. Putting the leads on the dogs, then picking up the poop-per scooper and some paper they went through the gate and along the path were the bins were to dispose of any accidents.
Then when the dogs had enjoyed a small walk they went into the main park and sat a a table to have their picnic.
"Oh yummy," Toby said as Tilly started taking all good things out of the basket. Toby reached across and opened the flask. It all looked just right and would you believe it, Tilly had even made sure to add some spare chicken and good things, (chewy stuff) for the dogs. Their tails wagged like mad and candy even had the cheek to bark at a little Snoopy dog, left his own picnic and wanted some of his chicken.
